Privacy Policy

My Voice Musique AI (the iOS app and the website at myvoicemusique.com) helps you make personal songs, like a birthday or love song. You record yourself humming, singing or talking, answer a short chat, and AI writes lyrics and makes the music. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

The service is run by an individual developer based in British Columbia, Canada (“we”). Questions? Email hello@myvoicemusique.com.

What we collect

• Your email address (you sign in with a one-time code sent by email).
• The voice recordings you make, and the words transcribed from them.
• Your answers in the short chat.
• Lyrics, generated songs and covers.
• Your plan, purchase status and song credits.
• Records of the consents you give.
• Basic technical logs, used to keep the service running and fix problems.

We never see your card details. Payments are handled by Apple.

How we use it

We use your information to sign you in, make your song, store it so you can come back to it, handle purchases and credits, keep the service safe, and answer your messages. Your recordings and lyrics are used to make your song. They are not used to train our own models. We don't sell personal data, we show no ads, and we use no third-party advertising trackers.

The music AI can't sing personal names, so your lyrics avoid them.

Who helps us run the service

We use these service providers. They handle data only to provide their service to us, under the terms of their paid or business APIs.

• Supabase: database, file storage and sign-in. Your data is stored in Canada (ca-central-1).
• Vercel: hosts the website and our API (USA).
• Google: Lyria makes the music and Gemini turns your recordings into text. Used only after you give AI consent in the app.
• Anthropic: Claude helps write lyrics from your chat answers and recorded words.
• RevenueCat: manages subscriptions and purchases.
• Apple: App Store payments.
• Resend: sends your sign-in emails.

Some of these providers process data outside Canada, including in the United States.

AI consent

Before your recordings or words are sent to the AI providers above, the app asks for your consent. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us. Without it, we can't make songs for you.

Sharing your songs

You can create a share link for a song. Anyone with the link can listen until you delete the song or the link. Only share links with people you trust.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is open. You can delete any song at any time. You can also delete your whole account in the app (Me → Delete account). This permanently deletes your account, recordings, songs and lyrics, and they are fully removed from backups within 30 days. We may keep purchase records as required for tax and accounting.

Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription. To cancel, open iPhone Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA and BC's PIPA), and under laws like the GDPR and CCPA where they apply, you can ask to access your information, correct it, delete it, or withdraw your AI consent. Email us and we'll respond promptly.

Children

The service is not for children under 13. If you are 13 to 17, you need a parent's permission to use it. The “Sing in my voice” feature is not available.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top, and tell you in the app if the change is important.
